Abseiling & Climbing
Want to move from the gym to the outdoors? This is a perfect opportunity to learn some new skills, or build on pre-existing skills. Learn how to rig a basic top rope set up, in simple, easy to follow steps, allowing you to transition form the gym and safely enjoy outdoor rock climbing. The course is catered to the skill level of the group and runs at 4 people to one instructor, and a 4 person minimum. This course is run over a full day or 2 days, depending on the group's requirements.

2 Day Rigging Courses
2 person minimum to open a new session, OR be joined to an existing session.
Learn how to set a top rope rig to progress from indoor climbing to the outdoors SAFELY! 16 and over ONLY.
Some of the topics covered include:
Use, care and selection of equipment
Understanding your gear
Moving on ropes
Selection and rigging of anchors
Knots, slings and prusiks
Abseil and climbing techniques
Rescue and safety procedures
Ascending on a rope
Rope handling and coiling
Multi-situational rigging set ups
All equipment needed is supplied
Freshly ground coffee, a selection of teas and healthy snacks will be provided. Please provide your own lunch if required.
Catering can be organised at an extra charge.
Prices may change at any time. A price is only fixed once full payment has been received. For pricing on activities not listed below, including group bookings, please contact us. At the SPECIAL prices, children of all ages pay the same as an adult. This still works out cheaper than the usual children at half price under 16, with one child per full fee paying adult ;) Please contact us to pay over the phone with your credit card. Each person booked, incurs a $3.50 credit card charge which is added to the price of your booking.
All sessions require minimum numbers to run. If your are not booking as a group that meets minimum numbers or above, you will be joined to an existing group on a day that has met minimum numbers, or is looking close to meeting numbers. If a session number drops below minimum, for what ever reason, the session maybe rebooked to another day. The same applies to non-favourable weather conditions.
