We also do not get missed calls when we are in the canyons. An email is always the best way to contact us or call us after 1700 each day. We do not take online bookings and need to speak to all clients to assess suitability before booking a tour.

This adventure starts and finishes in Hancock gorge, giving you access to both the public and the restricted areas for the full length of the canyon. We meet at the Weano day use area and gear up, and descend into Hancock gorge via the ladders. We walk through the Spider Walk and traverse Kermit's Pool to the start of class 6. Once there we will give you a briefing on how to use your via ferrata lanyards and then make our way onto the ledge via a rope overlooking Reagan's Pool. We descend down to Reagan's Pool, and make our way to the top of the Chute. Via a handline (unless the flow of water requires a belay line), we make our way even deeper into the heart of Karijini to the Centre of the Earth. Once there we take a look out into Junction Pool, and then begin to make our way back the same way we came, all the way back to the carpark at the top.

This day typically runs for approximately 4 hours, 0900 - 1300. This is an introduction to class 6 canyoning suitable for most people including children. We do not have an age restriction for this canyoning experience as long as the harness and helmet fit, and children attending can follow instructions given by our guides. Parents are required to participate as a duty of care.

This canyoning adventure is also perfect for larger groups and team building adventures for corporate groups, as we can accomodate numbers up to 25 and the day is shorter running around 4 hours. Our full day tours run at a 15 person maximum and around 6.5 hours. Get in touch to discuss your teams needs and group discounts.

NEW ADVENTURE !!

In April 2024, Weano Gorge was shut for several months due to a pinhead millipede infestations which was caused by a lack of a water during the wet season 2023/24. These millipedes are a natural phenomena and usually get flushed out. With the lack of water, no flushing occurred and the water being stagnant became toxic with the dying of millions of millipedes. To add to this a roo fell into the gorge followed by a dingo that was attracted to the stench of the dead roo. This dingo subsequently also died and a second dingo made its way into the gorge …. we believe this dingo did find this way out though. All of these factors resulted in the gorge remaining shut during our July canyoning season and us needed to come up wth a new tour for the clients that had paid for the Weano Descent. The Red Gorge Return was born and very well received :)

So we are now offering this for our July Season only.

This adventure starts and finishes in the same manner as the Journey to the Centre of the Earth in Hancock gorge, giving you access to both the public and the restricted areas for the full length of the canyon. We meet at the Weano day use area and gear up, and descend into Hancock gorge via the ladders. We walk through the Spider Walk and traverse Kermit's Pool to the start of class 6. We make our way onto the ledge via a rope overlooking Reagan's Pool. We descend down to Reagan's Pool, and make our way to the top of the Chute. Via a handline (unless the flow of water requires a belay line), we make our way even deeper into the heart of Karijini to the Centre of the Earth. Once there, we enter into Junction Pool with our tubes and hand-paddles paddles , and then begin our journey down Red Gorge. We traverse small patches of land in between stunning pools of varying lengths and depth surrounded by majestic red banded iron stone walls up to 130 metres high. We travel all the way to the end of Red Gorge Gorge and the beginning of Wittenoom Gorge. Once there and after a brief stop we then make our way back the same way we came, all the way back to the carpark at the top.

There might be a few surprises along the way if time allows :)

This day typically runs for approximately 6.5 hours, 0900 - 1530.
